I recently bought my '70 911T from a friend and I am really enjoying getting it back into shape (it was sitting in storage for 2 yrs) and love every minute I drive it. I have fixed a variety of mechanical problems, but am not very good electrically! So this may be too easy: my reverse lights do not work and I am not sure how to test the back up light switch to verify it is working properly? Tks for any comments - Alex

Actually my reverse lights don't work either.
I have a 915 later type tranny. Where is the reverse light switch located? I know its on the tranny somewhere. A Porsche parts person told me to check the wires to the switch first, the switch itself rarely gives problems, apparently. Good advice if you can find the switch! Jon '76 2.7S |

The switch is on the very nose of the transaxle, alongside the shifter lever, as far forward as you can go on the gearbox.
