Post Microswitch, Zenith TIN 40 carbs

Does anybody know, what the funtion of the microswitch on the driver's side of the Zenith TIN 40 carbs (2.2L 911T engine) is? It is located below the actuator lever for the driver's side carb.

Many thanks!

I found the following info in the factory workshop manuals under the heading: Auxiliary Enrichment for Overrun Conditions, 'As the throttle valves are re-opened (acceleration), a microswitch on the accelerator linkage shuts off the auxiliary device.' There was more info preceeding this last paragragh but my typing is only two finger fast:-) Hope this helps. Email me if you want the rest of the info. Pete
