You must have gotten your pan in at last!
I went the cheesy Eastwood undercoat route. The seam sealer I used was some product by Lord that I bought at an auto paint store - beige, and according to instructions could be used a caulk (my usage) and also be sprayed as undercoat. Dried to a similar consistency as the factory stuff. I Imagine the auto paint store would rent the equipment. Still, fantastic that you're going the factory original route. Good luck!

if you look on the paint/body forum there is a post by a guy who used the SKS INSIDE of his trunk and the look is fantastic.

burger i went with eastwood seam sealer and was kinda surprised by the consistency. not the easiest stuff in the world to work with. i'll put a nice long 'project' post up when i'm done with the pan and have some time to put the pics and such together.

These are cheap (like $50) - even here in canada. Try autozone or napa. You do not need a wurth one, they are all about the same. Play with your air pressure to get the desired consistancy.

I have the two styles by Wurth that you can use. Let me know if you still need.

If you are using the Wurth product you need the Wrurth gun to screw on to the over sized threads on the can.
If you are going with the SKS series product you can use either gun but if you go with the underbody seal then you need the Shutzu gun.. LM |

Thanks all; Dana email sent. It looks like Dana has the underbody seal which i will use on the....underbody! I think i'll be ordering some SKS as well to put on the inside as per 'drm05' in the pic above.

Berettafan, while you're most likely already thinking of this, be sure to tape something over the fuel tank hole when applying the underbody coating. You can probably guess how I came by my knowledge of this little trick. It wasn't by spending 2 seconds thinking about what I was doing ...
