Biggie size rims - photos and stats if you have them
Yes I understand large diameter rims on SC and up 911's rub some people and body work the wrong way. But my project car came with a set of 19's and I'm half thinking of trying them out. So if you have pictures of 911's with 17+ rim diameter's I'd be curious to see what is out there; if you have tire sizes and rim sizes to go with the pic's that would be even better. I did a search and couldn't find much.

Is the car a widebody? What width are the wheels?

Why not just go with 22's and put a lift kit on as well!

Do what you like... People told me my 914 would look stupid with 18's and that they'd never fit. I have 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10's in the rear under normal flares. I love the way the car looks. Just my $0.02

![]() I was thinking more along this path with RSR body.. Rims are 19x9.5 and 12 car has turbo flares.. thinking of full rsr wide body as I'm down to a shell. You kaboys trying to lift everything... I suppose you'd like chrome spinners too with 400 lbs of stereo equipment and neon glow lights beside the oil lines ![]() These are what came with it. I think 17's would be great but I'm just curious as I have these things. I've collected some other random pics such as below . ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by wideRSR; 05-17-2008 at 01:50 PM.. |

These are 9&11x18. I would prefer 17s but nobody makes the right size tires.
18s are the limit IMHO, 19s are too large a circle on the old school chassis. Because you already have 19s I would at least mount them and have a look before going to the trouble and expense of purchasing smaller diameter wheels. ![]()
