Poll: Is this oil line too far gone for repair?

In the search for an explanation of high oil temps I discovered the following. This is the line from the thermostat to the front oil cooler. Cast your vote!
Keep in mind I have no soldering or welding tools or experience so it would have to be done by someone else. Also, this is a 90% track car and future club racer so if repairing it is going to cause me to fail a tech inspection then I'll replace it.

That is one hell of a kink. I'd repair or replace it.

I think I would replace it with a new one or good used one. Then I would repair this one and kjeep it for a spare.

I don't think you need a poll for that.

Depends on your budget and inclinations. If you won't miss the money, get a new one. Otherwise, I'd try to uncrush in some reasonably safe manner, and if unsuccessful, solder in copper.

I assume it happened by a previous owner/mechanic that jacked the car up on the sill.

If you can weld...

There are used ones out there, possibly one in Mt. Sterling.

Hasn't someone on the board been successful pressurizing these lines and then doing something (heating...tapping?) that makes them pop right out. I think it was pretty high pressure though. It seemed to work very well and I don't recall anyone being too critical of the process.

Look up autoignition temperatures for oil and decide for yourself how free of oil your lines should be before adding compression and heat. OTOH, I don't recall reading about anyone blowing something up either.
