Clutch adjustment problem (cable)

Hi,

I did a rebuild of my pedal cluster and now i want to adjust the clutch, but i see that the thread on the cable were the clevis goes on is cut off, can someone tell me what the original length is of the thread on the clutch cable, i have a 911SC Euro of 78. I read that the clevis should be screwed on for 17mm, i have 22mm on the cable.

Thanks,

Peter

Seems to be cut off by the previous owner, what should be the original length of the thread. Should I replace the cable or can i still use this one when i now the original lenght i can calculate where the clevis should come.

Thanks,

Peter
