Carbon Fiber Fan / Engine Shroud

I would like to add some bling to the engine when I install the 3.2 intake. Does anyone make a carbon fiber fan / engine shroud? Please provide any information you have.

Thanks,

Forget the shroud. Cool would be carbon fiber engine tin! I Plus, bet it would be a lot easier to fab than a shroud.

Carbon Fiber

I just checked the Getty Design site and they carry it up to 3.0.

Down load the catalog page 20.

Don't know the difference between those models and 3.2, but its a start

Getty makes both- although the engine tin will not be available for the C2 turbo, or any turbo for that matter

Hey Tre Cup do you know if their shroud will fit a 91 turbo? So does anyone offer the tin for a turbo?

That shroud is mine...

The engine in the photo is mine...the shroud came from American International Racing:
http://americaninternationalracing.com/
I bought it 5 or so years ago and am not sure if they still carry it. I will tell you that I bought one from another fiberglass supplier and there was no comparison in quality of the unit and gelcoat...AIR was definitely the best.

Glad the photos still are floating around...

AIR didn't make that shroud. The resold it from Getty Design/ MA Shaw. They list some of Getty's parts in their catalog to fill out their line

I bought mine from Getty. They are nice folks and the product was good quality. I bought the shroud only, no air channels or other attachments.

I've seen carbon fiber overlays. It's some kind of a heat shrik process that gives the impression of having carbon fiber. Not too sure how it would work on a Porsche engine but I've seen it on several Subaru engines in sandrails.

I will be investigating this option. http://www.dashboardcentre.com.au/information2.php?info_id=2 I have had them do quite a lot of work on my custom Benz and the finish is fantastic. I am sure they could do the engine shroud in CF finish the only drawback maybe the heat factor. I am sure there are similar companies in the US.
