Scored this along with some other gauges for the low low price of $0.01!

Fuel pressure gauge, bolts up with a double banjo bolt to the fuel filter console in back to measure fuel pressure in the loop between filter and pump.
One of the steps in CMA is to be sure you have the right fuel flow and pressure. This tool (which is still available) is key to doing that the way the factory did. I have to find a double banjo bolt but that shouldn't be as hard as finding the gauge. . . The only other one I've ever seen is in the collection of Grady Clay . . . ![]()

Dang...I have been wanting one of those. Johnny...how did you find that on eBay? Were you searching for it specifically, or did you just stumble across it? Does anyone know if there are any other viable substitutes for that gauge? The likelihood of locating another on the Bay would be slim at this point.
Thanks. JA

John,
It's more of a collectors item than functionality-- the same gauge can be very inexpensively fabricated from the following items: 14mm banjo fitting-- 14mm inside diameter, 13.9mm thick (uses crush washers)- off an old MFI filter console. 14mm x 1.5 banjo bolt (25mm to underside of hex, 19mm ATF, holes are 4.5mm and there are four of them in a cross pattern) Of course, the double banjo bolt to attach this must be twice the thickness of the banjo fittings, in this case, 25-14=11mm of thread engagement plus two banjo fittings (2*14mm) plus THREE crush washers- so something like 42mm long should do it. That is PROBABLY a Cohline piece, Cohline made all this stuff (and still does). I recently got access to a lathe so I may fabricate one from a conventional bolt if nothing is available. A walbro 128-3042 is a 14mm banjo with an m10 male on the end, this would work The pressure gauge part is easy-- Wika sells bottom mount pressure gauges for under $10. Google for Wika, there's a place called FN Cuthbert that sells them very inexpensively. Scale on the gauge goes to 2,5 kp/cm2 -- very close to BAR in terms of measurement but not exactly. Diameter is 63mm (2-1/2"). Metric scales are also available, so you could have the thing read out in kp/cm2-- easier than converting to pounds. Hmm, 1 kp/cm2= 14.223 psi, so 2,5 is 35.6 psi at the high end of the range. A 30 psi gauge would probably not be good because that's about 2 bar, and mechanical gauges are most accurate in the center of the scale, not the ends. So a 60 pound gauge would be fine, $7.81 from the above location. Of course Baum tools still lists this piece for sale. Even though the hardware LOOKS like you could fab it out of old cam oil lines-- those are M12x1.5 fittings, too small for the MFI system. Grady. . . you put the "Gentleman" in "Gentleman Racer" . . . all the best and thanks for checking in. JFC
