Mtfr#15 - 6/21/08
It is that time again. MTFR #15 will be Saturday, 6/21/08 sometime in the late morning, probably 10ish. This time will be closer to Memphis than Nashville, but we hope you will join us for what at this point will be breakfast, bull and a drive! We will be meeting in Jackson, TN but location is not finalized yet. We have had 15 cars out before, so I am asking you to get the word out if you are in the area. Let's see if we can give the Cali guys a run for the money on attendance and eye candy.
 There a few routes nearby that make a nice drive back toward Memphis or Nashville, so make plans to come on out and have some fun. The date is firm. Since final details are still lacking, you need to email me and let me know if you can make it out. We always have a good time and we always look forward to meeting new Porsche enthusiasts here in mid and west TN.  Chances are we will be meeting for breakfast at either the Sonic we usually meet at, or over at the Casey Jones Restaurant. We are also thinking about doing a poker run of sorts, but not sure yet. Let's shoot for 30 cars! It's possible, the cars are out there... we just need to get the word out. So let's go!

Here are some pics. We had 5 911's, 2 914's, a Cayman S, and a wicked black BMW 333 (slightly non-stock
 ). Oh and a Jeep at breakfast (he has a 928 he is getting sorted).

So there we were in the middle of nowhere looking for some gas and found this place - advertising $0.55/gallon!!! We could not find any help though...

Shane, you left a little too soon. After you got gone an OLD dude came out and fired up the pumps and said that since we had to wait so long for him to come out he was gonna give us the .25 cent discount...............30 cents a gallon for 100 octane........WHOO hooo...........

Hey guys just wanted to drop a line and express my gratitude for the wonderful hospitality you showed us memphis guys. You guys really put the FUN in a fun run. No sissies in your group for sure. Just a bunch of lead footed psychos for sure. Really looking forward to the next run. Stay in touch and keep us posted. Was a great day with exception of the one mishap. All you other Memphis people really missed out on a great run with a lot of action. Keep safe.
