Newbie needing help! Door lock and rear wing

Hey guys,
I have enjoyed reading the forums for quite sometime. I just purchased my first 911. 1991. Has a few issues I cannot seem to get any answers on.
1) The rear wing will not go down.

2) The remote door locks will not work.

3) The drivers door lock will not lock.

There is more, but these are whipping my Tail.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do own a 86.5 928S also. Thats another story

Surely an electric fault. Did you check the continuity in the system...how look the fuses of the system...any corrosion on the terminals...What is the troubleshooting tasks you have done to date....

Do you have a Bentley manual for you car yet? I do not have one for your car but I would guess it will have a section dedicated to lock troubelshooting that will guide you throguh narrowing it down.

The drivers door lock not working could likely be the root of the remote door locks not working as in a lot of door lock systems the drivers door serves as the master trigger for the rest to lock. Not sure if this is true on the Porsche central lock system or not but I would start with troubleshooting the drivers door not locking.

Welcome to the board....cool, a car with character. I believe the tail up means the car is trying to tell you something....drive faster, at least its not stuck in the down position, the non locking door is an invitation to get in.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the welcome.
Just wanted to touch base on the status of the Door locks. I removed the door panels , the door locks and the door handle.
Located on door handle was a switch which kinda snaps in place over the tumbler area. I pop the the switch off and Inside there is suppose to be a small ball bearing. VERY SMALL
When you turn the key it rotates a ridged area under the ball bearing raising the ball and pressing on the switch. When you rotate it one way it presses the switch one way or the other causing the lock to lock or unlock.
PRESTO!!! One problem solved. Still haven't gotten the remote door opener to work.
My brain hasn't worked this hard in years! lol
Germans love their switches!!
