Anyone ever order the aero mirror kit from our sponsor ?
Just curious... Mine (the manual edition) came with a bunch of parts but without the actual mirror glass - just the housing in other words. The picture on the online catalog does show glass, so I'm assuming it should have been included... I just want to check if maybe that's normal and I have to buy the glass separately, before complaining (nicely) and make a fool of myself ;-)
anyone bought this recently? |

I believe that Porsche no longer includes the glass in the Aero mirror kit. Sucks doesn't it

if that's the case, they should remove them from the picture of the kit.... Ok, I'll open a ticket and ask then...

search for the how to. there is a really good tool you can make out of a #0 eye screw like 3 nuts and a series of washers on a bolt in case you like me, find yourself not wanting to do a handstand on top of a newly painted mirror. I can't remember off the top of my head wher i saw that method but you can make it for like 3 bucks and pcompress the spring in less than five minutes a side. I'm sure you can find it without too much trouble but if not let me know and i'll dig through some of my old archived threads. cheers,
-felix
