Restoration-Design Backlog
Does anyone know just how far behind Restoration Design is in making deliveries? I have had a couple of pieces on order (for 2 months now) and can't talk to anything but his answering machine. I need to order several other pieces but have begun to think about Performance Products instead. PP however has not answered my questions about how long their lead time is on major sheet metal parts either.
Has anyone spent the extra money to get sheet metal from PP and/or does anyone have pros/cons regarding PP vs Restoration Design?

When I dealt with RD I ended up calling 10 or 15 times a day until I got the proprietor on the line. I don't think he answers his answering machine. I got the parts (front pan) a week later.
I'll try Automotion or PP next time, though I have no idea how timely they would be ...
