Oh man that looks GREAT!
Ride height is perfect.
I really want to get my petals polished like that.

Looks good.

I like how you removed the boulder duck tail also.

You made me look. In the first pic the bolder looks more like a turd than a duck tail.

It is interesting to note the difference in ride height just from the rubber bushings loading up from jacking up the car even though I backed the car up 50 ' and pulled it in again for the pics.

My car has dropped about .5" sense putting on new shocks and having the car aligned and corner balanced.

I actually like both looks. Just picked up a set of 7&9's and that was how the looked. I am looking at one more wheel idea (Fuchs front, minilite rear) before I make a final call.

OT, but are you happy with your paver solution? I need to provide some moisture-access for a very old oak, but don't want to be dumping round-up all the time to keep my driveway tidy - suggestions?

Pretty sure you're SOL. I think that if you have moisture and dirt, ya got stuff growing. Or you could plant grass in the middle. If its healthy, it will choke out weeds and other undesireables. Where you drive all the time it will compact and no moisture will get in there anyway. Or things grow, for that matter.

Keith,

Give me a deal on the 17" Fuchs and I will tell you.

Kidding. That is why the original developer put the pavers in. We do have issue with unwanteds but a topical spraying dose knock them down and dose not bother the tree.

I have seen the same set up with grass planted in the openings and it looks great and can still be driven on. Just do not have your car parked there when the sprinklers go on.

Keith in Sacramento.

Thanks for posting that, I have a red SC, but I still can't decide, heeh heeh. Or maybe fully polished?

Kinda' late now, but a layer of heavy plastic sheeting under the bricks will keep the foliage away, except where the sheeting segments come together...

He wants moisture for the trees, so plastic is not going to work.

Welcome to the new "Pelican Landscaping Forum". Who would have thought.

There are mesh barriers that could be rolled down that would keep deep plants from sprouting. However, the dirt above it will still grow unwanteds. I guess you could fill in with pea gravel or such instead of dirt.

Roundup breaks down in the soil. It works by absorbing through the green part of the plant. Nice wheels, are you doing centers?

I have centers to match. Left them off for now to see if it is more of a track look.
