Tunnel Diagram

I'm putting this up just to help out the search capability of the website.
I found it difficult to find a good tunnel diagram from my searches so I put this together to help out.

This diagram is from a 1982 SC. Older and newer models may be slightly different.

The only connections not very clear is the small Charcoal canister line and brake booster line. These are behind the rear subframe and difficult to photo.
I've double checked my tunnel and I believe it is accurate for my car.

Great! Thanks!

That would have come in real handy when I was running the EFI wiring harness.

Thanks!

nice - I'm gonna save it.

if you found the pics of the gutted tunnels that some have posted during your searches, then this would be a good thread to cross-link them to.

Tunnel info

I believe that the left fuel line lable is to a fuel tank vent line that goes to the carbon cannister in the engine compartment. It should not have positive fuel pressure on it. The hoses get old and brittle and will crack or break when moved. If you have the engine out, you probably should replace it. Been there, done that!

Here is the other thread that shows the insides of the tunnel for a cross reference.

OOOOOPS, What's in the tunnel?

I did make one mistake in my original picture. I just found out that the CIS wiring harness is on the right side and DME wiring harness is on the left side...

Also, for pre-CIS cars, the second fuel line is actually a tank vent line that should go to the charcoal canister. So these cars have two lines going to the charcoal canister.

I'm also adding a better picture of the charcoal canister and brake booster lines.
