Group 91 fits perfect in the 911. I have an Interstate MTP-91 in my '87. Check out their website

Just put in the right battery in my '83. Its a group 91 that I was able to get at my local battery rebuilders place . Got the proper holddown piece from our host and no more shifty slidey battery.

At some point in its life my car had its positive terminal replaced on the main harness. With the new battery the terminal was now very close to grounding out on the hull of the car so I wanted to replace it with something a little less dangerous. Since I could not find a local source of a flag type terminal with auxillary leads I converted the terminal to a marine type and crimped some simple copper lugs onto the cables. This gets the cable elevated over the top of the battery and gives me some choice as to what direction the cable comes off the battery.

Next up: find some sort of non conductive cover that'll sit on the battery. I don't like the way that the perlon trunk liner (which can get wet if the hood id inadvertantly left in half latch position) drapes over both terminals.
