That black 993 sure plays with the heartstrings.

I wonder if the owner of the 308 gets his fill of Magnum jokes.

I love that Lotus Esprit! Here is some Wikipedia on the Esprit for your entertainment.

The Esprit V8 used Lotus' self developed type 918 3.5 L twin turbo engine, in front of the same Renault transmission as before. Derek Bell developed an uprated gearbox that overcomes a lot of the gearbox problems with a much thicker single piece input shaft Power was up to 355 bhp (265 kW), however the capability of the 918 engine was limited by the fragility of the Renault transmission. Zero to sixty miles per hour came in under 5 seconds. Some examples of the engine are noted however to suffer from a leaking cylinder liner problem.

Alongside V8 models was produced the GT3, a turbocharged 4 cylinder car with a 2.0 L chargecooled, turbocharged engine as used in Italian market cars previously.

In 1998 the V8 range was split into SE and GT specifications, both cars with a much changed interior configuration, both offering similar performance with the SE being the more luxurious of the two.

The ultimate incarnation of the Esprit came in 1999 with the Sport 350. Only 50 were made,[7] each offering 350 horsepower (as per the name) and various chassis and braking improvements. By this time the Esprit could reach 60 mph (100 km/h) in well under 5 seconds, and weighed 1300 kg (2866 lb) as a result of their hand laid fibreglass bodies.

Esprit production continued on until 2004, Lotus content on producing the Esprit with little development aside from minor cosmetic changes including a switch to four round tail lights in 2002. Over 28 years a total of 10,675 Esprits were produced.

We also had a Carrera GT at C&C, but my friend does not want the car photographed and put on the web.

That's my friend's car. I told him a funny story as he left C&C. At the Kruse Auto Auction held last month, there were 2 Ferrari 328s for sale. In the crowd, there was a gentleman dressed in faded jeans, Hawaiian shirt, aviator sunglasses, Detroit Tigers cap, canvas military style belt and sneakers. damned guy thought he was Thomas Magnum! He was also the same build as Magnum so it was pretty funny. He even had the walk down pat!

It's the donuts on the curb!

Bry, looks like the turn out is getting larger. Did Flex bring out the Corvette club?
I was at work, so I couldn't come out to play.

Now only if we had a track...I wonder how many of those cars would show up?
I know the yellow Turbo would!

That is completely devastating. I have never seen such clean cars in my life. The palm trees. The weather. The shorts and t-shirts. The clear sky. The sun. The..

Just lovely. Lovely. Thanks for posting!

Why. Oh why was I born in this unforgiving, cold, dark, salt covered road, semi-communistic completely depression charging part of the world.

Oh well.. I guess I´ll have another glass of old Danish hard liquor..

My wife and I lived in Honolulu from 94 to 97. Trying to figure out exactly where this meet was held, but couldn't see enough detail. Was this down in Canery Row?

What ever happened to doing some sport racing out at Dillingham airfield towards Kaena?
I bot my car at Shelly in 1979 and Steve Collins at Automotive Engineering on Cooke was the local peformance wizard.
Maybe six-ten cars running out there on Thursdays and some weekends. One a yellow 79 930.
I guess it was 30 years ago............ no cops then.......

I had to work that day, but I'll be at the Food Bank Run. However, I'll be in my BMW as it's a joint PCAH/BMWCCH thing. I'm the BMWCCH President. lol
