6 pin connector

First of all Merry Christmas to all of you.

I have tried searching for this but must not know the proper terminology. Is there a way to de-pin these molded connectors? The power wire for my tach has quite a bit of heat damage and needs to be repaired at the connector.

Thanks

I recast them, but I need the harness to do it properly.
New wire from 6 pin cast connector terminal and a new gauges daisy chain is the right way to do it.

A while back timmy2 here on Pelican made me a pigtail connector to splice into my existing harness. Send him an email or pm.

For the ignition switch connector (which this one is) I wouldn’t want to splice it due to the current it sees.
You could fairly easily strip the wires out of the harness back to the battery (2 reds), fuse panel (fatter red black and red yellow) and the thinner red black to the gauges. And send that to me or send me the wire lengths of each for your year.
