Post Injector flow ratings

Ok
I give up I cannot find the pressure/ flow ratings for the standard 3.2 Carrera injectors anywhere. Bosch part number is 0-280-150-158.
Any help is appreciated.

Chris

I just got back my injectors from Marren Motorsports. Here are the results-

These are stock Bosch units from an '87 911.

Hope this helps. These are the specs if you are measuring at the fuel rail (not really injector rates). Just fuel pressure...

Engine off----- 2.5 bar (36 psi)
Engine running- 2.0 bar (29 psi)
Engine running,
vacuum hose removed
from pressure reg.- 2.3-2.7 bar (33-39 psi)

Are you testing the fuel system pressure?

Of course the amount of fuel changes as pressure changes. If my memory serves me correctly from my Bosch days, I think fuel rates are measured @ 45 PSI. I have not been able to find a link to the fuel rates for all Bosch injectors. Anyone know of a link so that we can find flow rates for FI??

Here is a link that lists a fair number of injectors:

http://www.autospeed.com/A_0102/P_2/article.html

You are also correct in that capacity is normally listed at 45 psi. The test results for the 0-280-150-158 injectors posted were based on a very short pulse time. I am looking for ratings as per the above link if anyone has them.

Thanks
Chris

This is also an interesting general discussion on Injectors which touches on the testing procedures.
