Porsche Crest 993 engine in 3.2

I am sure this is a subject that has been covered before since I have seen several swaps in magazines. Found one site that lists several kits required and most would probably be well bought .Exhaust seems to be a focus area .I am looking for someone that has done this or can advise. Thanks.

There are countless threads and people who have done this on this board alone. Steve timmins and patrick motorsports are the two big ones who offer kits, but there are others.

what kind of answers are you looking for?

For the exhaust try MBK. A lot of people are very happy with it and it bolts to the 993 HE.

Timmins makes a very expensive set of HE/Headers and mates them with a Flowmaster or Magnaflow muffler.

I have the Timmins' work and I do not think it's worth it, especially because of the terrible resonance I get with the Flowmaster at around 2k rpm.

I used B&B headers on mine, they were custom made by B&B w/ 964 heat inleats and 911 heat outlets, other wise plain 1.75" headers, hooked up to a Flowmaster crossflow muffler. It's loud. They tell my that there are other more muted cross flow now available.
