CLutch - washers, shims and paraphernalia

I am putting a Sachs "power clutch" in to a 1975 915 tranny. I am wondering what hardware is needed to do this (I have never had a '75 apart and have no guides to go by). It has a "normal" disc - not a rubber centered clutch disc.

This Haynes diagram shows 4 different washers or shims, etc.

I assume that # 6 and 7 are not needed with a normal clutch disc. True?

What about the 2 items between the throw out bearing and the pressure plate (# 9 and 10)? Are they needed?

Thanks much!

Randy,

You are going to need the six flywheel bolts (I recommend you have an extra set on hand). The nine clutch cover (PP) bolts and washers are very standard M8 socket head cap screws and split lock washers.

The clutch release (throwout) bearing should come with all these parts.

Please lets talk about where you are so everything works out of the box.

Best,
Grady

Thanks, Grady. It is a 9 bolt flywheel (3.2L motor) & I have those bolts + a couple new ones; also have the 9 PP allen cap screws/lock washers on order.

I can call or Email you - let me know or if I don't hear from you I'll call. Did you get the Email with the MS Word attachment?

I am going to have questions about the clutch actuation also...

Will put at least the initial query up on the bbs as that let's othe crazies see it...
