Falk,

Where are you ordering from?

I think maybe you meant to spell "Blems" which would probably be a way of referring to a cosmetically blemished tire, which means it could be sold at a reduced price because the lettering is misshapen or perhaps it is scuffed or dirty.

I think "Changeover" would refer to a tire that is used during severe weather as a seasonal tire or if it is for a racing application it would probably be a "wet" traction tire.

What tire are you looking for? Brand? Size?

I think that also you would do much better on shipping cost if you considered European sources, check out toyo they have a dealer locater.

I hope I haven't confused you with my thoughts, just trying to help.

Shane

Oh the denloc issue? Post a link to the tires you are looking at and I will try to explain for you what it means.

I need 315/35x17 and 245/40x17 for my RUF/ DP Motorsport
9+11x17 rims. I prechoosed BFG TA KD tires.
Here is a ebay auction.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=350036673087&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=022

you are correct, its "blems, not belms :-)

As I have a USA shipping adress, it will pay out.

regarding "Denloc", I asked in the 930 forum how to care
for my Ruf denloc rims. ALL state: forget it!
Ruf states: ONLY denloc tires.
But, the widened rear 12 rims have never seen denloc tires before.

last but not least, here a pic:

thank you for explaining
Falk

If I were you I would buy all three sets of those tires, it seems like a real good price for those. I still don't understand the meaning of "changeovers" in the add but I believe it may have something to do with the fact that they are left and right side specific sets. You should post that question to the seller if you haven't all ready done so.

Why don't you ask the seller what he means with "changeovers"?

Those are extremely cheap!

As for changeovers, they might be new old stock of tires when the tread pattern changed.

I've never heard that term regarding tires before.

I wonder if he means take-offs.

By take-offs, I mean somebody bought a new car and immediately replaced the wheels and tires. Odd size tires for take-offs though.
