Post Jacobs ignition system for turbo'd engine

Hello all, a freind of mine is giving me a complete unused Jacobs ignition package in exchange for a jetta door that I had sitting there for years. I read many testimonials of people who installed this on there Hondas with better mileage and smoother upper end power. Personnaly, I wouldn't pay the money for this, especially on a normally aspirated car, but given the circumstances, and my car being turbo, theory has it that it is harder for the sparkplugs to ignite at certain boost levels, do you guys think it's worth my while to install the system? I don't know what the system is called but it comes with its own coil, computer and wiring.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Mike
