Installing new fuel lines

The fuel lines (high pressure and return lines) failed. The leak is in the shifter tunnel. Needless to say, the fuel spilled all over my interior.
I am reassembling the interior and just put down some Dynamat. I lost most of it as the gas ate the bituminous backing.
Anyway,
Anyone know the procedure to replace the fuel lines?
Is it best to go OEM or get some metal braided hoses done by a speed shop?
I heard replacing them is an ordeal? anyone help me with details?
Thanks

Sorry I don't really have any tips. Be prepared to spend some time pissed off as it is a frustrating project. Make sure to pull a string when you pull the old lines out and then use the string to help guide the new line back through. There really is not much room for a larger diameter line so if you do run a steel braided line a -6 would be the max you will get with out modifications.

Good luck...
