Problem with some gauges..

Hi everybody, i think i am having some problems with the oil gauges or maybe a general electrical problem.

The oil temp gauge reads aparently fine, but when i go at cruise speed across a not perfect portion of road it moves up, and then down, and if i depress the aceel pedal it goes down a little bit, and recover real temp when accelerating.

The other problem is that the light in the top of this gauge set (the one that says OIL and the handbrake simbol) is always blinking. I have the handbrake down, also tryed to take out the cable of the sensor and make a little shortucut to check if the sensor was going bad and the light was still up and blinking.

I checked the oil at the tank, and the level was ok.

So i don't know why this light is blinking, also with this light i hear a noise like the one you hear when the turn light is on.

The other problem is with the oil level gauge. It's always at zero, well, under zero. i removed the gauge and take otu a cable from the back and if i remove it the gauge marks full, 100%, so i think the problem is not the gauge itself, but i don't know where this cable cames from.

What kind of 911 is this?

Check the ground wires, battery terminals, and fuses first.

Hi Welcome to Pelican. It would helpful to all if you include your location and your car year and model in your signature

As noted above, check your grounds, especially the ground strap between your engine and the car body.

This is your brake warning lamp. It gets turned on by two things: setting your handbrake; and a switch in your master cylinder. It is quite possible that you need to reset your master cylinder switch or it has gone bad. Once we know the year and model of your car, we can help you trouble shoot it. In the meantime, do a search with the terms "brake light blinking". Read all of the responses but pay close attention to those by John Walker.

Sorry, can't help you with this one.
