Is this a paint code?

Is the paint code on a '70 on the Karmann plate in the door jamb or is that something else? The number is something like 1515 C or G or a 6. I think it is a C. If that isn't the paint is it on a metal badge like that or is it just a sticker? Trying to verify that my car has always been Irish green.

thanks

Yes, the paint code is on the door plaque on the jamb. 1515 was the Glasurit code for Irish Green in '70-73. The last character is a G for Glasurit.
