It's Done
Well I have been typin' about the motor I am building for my Hot Rod now for some time. Well it's off the dyno and in my car.
281 H.P. 244 ft./lbs. torque at 6100 RPM. 8000 RPM red line. The motor is a 3.2 short stroke (98x70.4), 3.2 Carrera heads, 46mm PMO carbs, dual plug, 10.25:1 compression J-E pistons, Web Cam cam shafts, SSI's, with a sport muffler Torque is 220 ft/lbs at 3500 RPM's and drops below 220 at 6600 RPM's. Very flat torque cruve with cams that are hotter that early "S" cams. Any way it's done and it CRANKS. Randy Jones 1971 911 |

Excellent! And just in time for R Gruppe. On the way to the winery, I'll be the guy in the black car, receding back in your rear-view mirror.
