What's the "L" for in the paint code?

Hi all,

The paint code for my '71 911E reads "2020 - L". I know the 2020 is for Pastel Blue, but what does the "L" mean?

thanks!

The german word for "paint" starts with "L", its something like "Lach".

Sander, the 'L' in the paint code refers to the original paint supplier - in this case Lechler. (G= Glasurit H= Herbol L= Lechler)
