Can I use this spare rim for the street?

I want to try a set of steel rims instead of using the traditional Fuchs.
The rim is 5 1/2 by 15, it's the spare from 1974. 2.7 targa.
The front rim is perfect fit, no touching the 930 calipers.
The car is 100% street use.

The idea is to run a pair for the front and find a pair of 6/15 for the rear.
What is that funny looking valve Stem with 2 head???
Thanks
Burint

For Temporary use right?

I am sure it is like any other steel rim but what are you going to use for a spare if you get a flat?

That double valve is designed for quick release of air in the spare tire to compress the tire back to original position so you can place it back in the trunk's spare tire compartment.

What do I use a spare? good question.
Probably have to get 3 of those and keep one for the spare.
And not for temporary use, I will change the tires to 195 or 205.

Yes, you can use those. I did the same with my 914-6 clone. Had them powdercoated black. Be sure to use steel lug nuts, however.

May I ask the reason why you choose this rim over any other type?

Hi rnln
The car is red 1974, targa. I love the chrome trims and would like to keep it the retro style. The picture of the yellow car is what I'm after.
It's so sad, most of the long hood and the narrow body cars in Thailand were converted to the newer model in the past. Luckily, more and more enthusiast are now brought them back to the way they were.

Here's some of them that are in the process.
Thanks

Oh I see, you are going Retro

Are going back to Chrome Side Mirrors, OEM Top and Engine Lid?

if you find a set, you can have them widened.
