Which Wheel scales to buy ? (corner balance)

My Question , which ones would be a good choice ??
There seems to be all kinds and brands for sale...they are all about the same price ( 1 G )
Any experience or ideas / thoughts ??

I've used Intercomp EZ-weight quite a lot. They're easy to work with.

I don't own a set or an actual scale. I did find a hydraulic bottle jack that has a built in weight gauge that indicates how much weight that it is lifting. I had never seen one like it before I ran across this one. I have used real scales to verify the weight of my car, by each axle, and by each corner. This jack scale I have, seems to do a fairly good job, with a variance of about 1%(- +) I have not seen another like it.

We use Longacre,...they are closer than other manufaturers in case of a problem and these have been quite reliable.

Call some race teams and get their opinion.
They make their living using them.

If you find a set of old mechanical ones in good shape, they are good too.

If you want longacre, look at Rebco, which is a budget brand by longacre.... maybe save an addition 100 or so? Worth a look.

Cheers

Better yet, go to the racetrack and look in the garages. I'll bet you see more intercomps than anyone else. Partly because we get a deal on them, but all the companies give out deals. What I'll say is intercomp has a good service program.

Over the years I've used Rebco, Longacre, Intercomp, and Novatech. I would go with Intercomp for reliability and service or Rebco for price.

It depends on what features you need,....

I still have my old mechanical racecar scales (4) and I'll sell those to you cheap if that helps. These are very useful when you have no electricity such as at the track,...LOL. PM me if interested.
