80 SC, lots of talk about adjusting CO2 mixture? Where is the "Screew"? How do I adjust it? Im confident my car is running rather "Rich". After disconnecting the CO2 sensor it stopped hunting as much, but idles very high. If I tighten the Idle screew to much it starts to hunt again.

![]() CO2 mixture = CO2 levels in your exhaust gas. You need an exhaust gas analyzer to measure this. Most people don't have their own. You adjust your fuel/air mixture to achieve a certain CO2 level in your exhaust. CO2 Sensor = You disconnected your O2 sensor. You adjust your fuel/air mixture by using a long allen wrench to adjust the green screw in this picture. It changes the relationship between the sensor plate position and the fuel plunger in the fuel distributor. Clockwise is richer, counter clockwise is leaner. You can do this adjustment roughly without an exhaust gas analyzer, by adjusting for smooth idle speed. It's not that accurate though. ------------------ Bill Krause '79 911SC Euro |
