Question fuel filter part #

The one that came out of the car is Bosch# 450 905 003, Pelican sent me 450 905 079. The difference is on the output side, my existing filter is 14mm, the one Pelican sent is 12mm.

A local parts house told me I need 450 901 016.

My question, is there a difference in the flow volume or can I use the one Pelican sent me if I find the correct brass fitting (12mm on the filter side to 16mm on the line side)?

Shamelessly trying to put this back on top now that the server is in high gear.
