Side view mirror question

My mirror wobbles when I drive. So, I removed it and noticed two of the connectors, circled in red, are missing. The only one that is there is the one circled in black. I called our host and they stated I have to buy a whole new mirror. I'm sure I can just jbweld some connectors on the back. Does anyone know where I can get the fasteners?

No help on the pin sources - unless you get lucky and find someone who kept a broken mirror that can be harvested.

Probably a dumb question, but are you sure they're not still stuck in the backing plate? The odds of them simultaneously coming unglued and falling out of the nylon grommets would seem pretty high.

I'll see if I still have my old one. If I do, then I'll send it to ya for free.

No, they're not still stuck in the mirror. It's been wobbly (sp) since I purchased the car, finally got around to see why. So, I'm assuming they were removed by someone in the past. But, I did go and double check.

Rusnak, if you have em's that's be great!!! I

EdandQ:

Will wonders never cease. I moved some parts boxes today and found that I had exactly two (2) of those pins just lying around.

If you still need them, I'd be happy to send them free of charge. PM me with your address if you want them.

P.S. JB Weld is great stuff but I used regular 5-minute Epoxy two years ago (cuase I'm impatient) on mine and it worked fine.
