Thumbs up Box under pass seat causing Fuel Inj problems...

I just got a call from my mechanic and he says the box under the passenger seat is causing my power loss/rough running problems. Apparently it was a connection issue and the box works properly. He also connected the O2 Sensor.

Before finding this, he tested the fuel system and ruled out the fuel distributor and other items. He also said the pressure is good. Four hours of labor and no parts. I will drive it tonight with him and see how much power the car has.

Has anyone else had a problem with this unit?

if the guy was good he'd have related the poor performance to the oxygen sensor computer computer relay in about 5 minutes and saved you a lot of money. the relay is about 5 bucks. just a blown dome light fuse will cut off power to the relay.

Thumbs up

Well, I picked up the car and it runs great. Now I can see about fixing my exhaust leak. It never ends!

Thanks John for the feedback. The bill came out to $240.00 Maybe higher than it should have been, but I am still pleased. I now know that everything checks out in the CIS. Also and I had expected a larger bill for solving this mystery.
