Does anyone know if Porsche ever sold fitted luggage designed for the front trunk? No doubt hideously expensive if they did. What solution do other listers use to maximise holiday packing and avoid putting dents in that perfect bonnet that's just been lovingly polished for an hour.....??
Any clever luggage / bags that fit perfectly? Any clever tricks for hiding spare oil bottles / tools in the bowels....?? I'm heading off for a three week tour around Europe next month and i'm wondering how much my pasenger and I are really going to be able to fit in - especially as it's a Cabriolet and rear seat packing isn't going to be that secure. All tips gratefully recieved. ------------------ Christian Stewart '87 Carrera Cabriolet christian.stewart@dmstewart.com [This message has been edited by Christian Stewart (edited 05-09-2001).] |

There is a rack they make that mounts on the rear decklid without any drilling. It costs a few hundred dollars though. It's a European Co. They have a website but I can't think of it. I'll dig it up if you're interested. I was looking for a rack that I could carry 2 snowboards. This one would have worked but I didn't want to shell out the $$. Anyone have the solution for carrying snowboards on a Targa.
