I guess I'm getting old - I value comfort over 'looks'. I don't care what other people think. The tint helps reduce the temps in my black interior with the minimal AC, here in Cali.

Why did I buy a P? Well, I still enjoy a spirited drive every now and then. For longer drives, I take my Avalon (my grandpa car!).

Well I took out my tint when I put my rollbar in. It was old and I didnt want to have to pull the bar to do it later down the road. I like the clear window look but I have tan interior with A/C so it doesnt get as bad. I dont drive the car in the heat of the day anyway though.

Mark, that is a great looking color. Your papa plate might look good on the front too. Someone did good with the camera.

Tint?

They were tinted by previous owner, glad they were. Keeps the interior cool, not too dark and helps protect interior from sun. Ya, it is illegal for the front windows but i'll take the risk.:Dhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1214340971.jpg

Wow!!! I'm really gangster then... tinted windows, muffler bypass on my 911 AND my Harley!!!! I better start wearing my pants around my butt!!!

What an idiot!!!!

MIne also were tinited when I got it, but as you can see by the pictures, not too horribly tinted. I have no idea what the percentage is. It helps a ton, as well as one of the nice fold up fornt windshield sun reflector things for when I am parked at my office during the day.

With regards to night driving, I think it actually helps keep the bright lights from blinding me since I am so low to the ground.

I think it is a personal taste thing. Tints look OK, but I prefer a lighter or no tint.

My car was from Florida originally and is understandably tinted. Up here in Canada, it is not as necessary and I will soon remove the tint.
