Long time reader frst time poster...

Thought I would introduce myself and post some pics.
I meant to do this months ago but it’s been so rainy here couldn't get any good pics and didn't want my first post to be without pics. I bought a 1980 911SC ROW 111K at the first of the year. It’s my first Porsche but I have been a life long fan. I have no history on the car so after reading here I made the assumption that it was probably over due for valves and what not. So I took it to Mr. John Walker who inspected it, tuned it and fixed both my heat and pass window. I want to thank this board for the recommendation he knows his Pcars and is a cool guy. I noticed that the car was smoother and faster after he tuned it. Now that the engine is running well I have noticed the brakes are grabbing and grinding. It’s hard to say exactly what’s going on with the brakes. So my first project is to fix the brakes. I have a list of little things to do. I bought a stack of books from our host including 101 Proj, Bentley, etc but I still have tons of questions. Now that it’s warming up here I will start working on the car. Anything I can't do myself I will take to Mr. Walker. It seams there is plenty of work to be done on this car. Anyway thanks for the info and I look forward to posting.

Welcome to Porschedom. You'll have a blast, and it looks like you have yourself a nice little car there.

Welcome to the board! You are a wise man to take your car to JW. Your car looks sharp with those cookie cutters...interesting look.

You just missed our monthly XXX meeting this morning. I hope you can make it next month. Go to the PNW board and check out our local activities.

Nice car! Add me to the list of fans of the cookie cutter wheels. My only suggestion is maybe some spacers in the rear to fill those flares out a little. But I like the uniqueness.

Definitely get together with the gang at the XXX, they're a fun bunch! We had the pleasure of meeting them on our last vacation.
