Any ides on electronic speedometer boot?

I am getting all of the parts for the reinstalling of my motor. Unfortunately our sponsor does not carry the rubber boot for the electronic speedometer cable that seals off at the tunnel by the transmission nose. Does anybody know where to get this boot? Any other ideas? Thanks

Buy a new speedometer sensor; I believe it comes with the boot.

You don't show where you are, but have you tried a salvage yard, or one of the you-pull-it-types?

One end of the boot is quite small to seal on the two wire cable; the cable connectors cannot be passed through this end. To salvage and reinstall a boot either the wires must be cut or the connectors uncrimped (not easy to do). I do not believe the boot was ever sold separately.

Bump on this old thread. Has anyone found a source for these boots? Mine is torn and it would be unfortunate to have to replace the entire sensor just to replace the boot.

I realize that the connector end is too large to fit through the end of the boot, but the two wires can be removed from the plastic piece, and the spade connectors should be able to be passed through the small hole in the boot.

The mechanical speedometer boot is available separately, but the opening is too large for the sensor wire.
