How do I download a video clip?

I have an engine tick and wanted to download a video/audio clip here. How do I add it to my post.

TIA - Terry

This forum will only allow you to upload a picture.

You need to upload the video on another site (like vimeo, webshots, etc...) and insert a link to the file in your post.

Then we can all see it!

Hi Terry,

You can't post an avi or mpeg directly here so use youtube and upload your video there using the option to only allow those with the youtube link to see it (not required but will save some non-porsche user of youtube having to plow through your video when they are searching).

It is pretty easy but you have to sign into youtube to pull it off. Keep the file pretty short. 20 seconds-ish to save yourself time uploading. Also, if you reduce the quality of the video you take the audio is still very clear. That can save upload time as well.

Copy and paste the youtube link in your message text.

(oops - timing overlap with aston)

Thanks all, I tried earlier to upload it to my photobucket account but the clip just would not finish. I'll try again and copy/paste to a new post.

Hi timmy2, I had to reload my Adobe Flashplayer to make it work right. Between Photobucket and Adobe I was having fits and finally used the newest version and all was well.
