Question Help identifying under-dash connector

Can anyone help by identifying what this connector is for?

The number on the connector is 0105457028 and is has a M-B tri-star logo.

It has a resemblance to the Porsche part 94461221700.

During some recent work on my '87 sunroof coupe, I found this connector near the center of the dash apparently not connected to anything. It doesn't look corroded enough to have not been plugged into anything for 21 years.

It is integrated with the radio wiring and other wires, and doesn't look aftermarket. Note that it also says "W Germany" - another indication that it is original.

BTW, the car has the original Blaupunkt SQR26 radio, so this isn't part of an aftermarket radio installation.

Thanks.
