Clutch Question?

I have an 87' 3.2. There is a drag and a simultaneous squeak coming from the rear of the car, when a push the clutch in. I've listened to it when I had the car shut off and it sounds as though there is some resistance causing the sound like maybe a rubbing situation. Is there something I need to lubricate or is it internal? This happens at the 75% to the 100% point; in other words, from the 3/4 point to the bottom out point.

Does your Carrera have the updated clutch release shaft and bushings or the original needle bearing setup?

Mine made that kind of noise right before the throwout bearing seized up. When was the last time you replaced your clutch?

My car has an updated clutch with 60K on it. The original went out at 75K.
