Friends of Warren Commemorative decal ordering info!
Well, Maybe I should start with: we are finally ready to start this thing.
![]() I know this will not apply to most here, but if you are new and need some explanation about this effort, please do a search for "Warren Hall" or Early_S_Man". Folks, I am happy to be able to tell you that you can now place an order for an official Friends of Warren decal. Thanks again to Nicolas Hunsiker for a beautiful and fitting design. Thanks to Kurt and Mark for fueling this effort with their love for Warren. And a BIG thank you to Tony Giovinazzo (a fellow Pelicaneer - "Tony the Targa" I think). Part of the delay has been finding a way to collect orders and get things distributed. Any of you who have ever done anything similar know what a chore it is. All of us involved are very busy with different things. Well, Tony has volunteered to get the ball rolling for the initial order, and play the order taker/distributor roll. Please pat him on the back if you ever see him. The decals will be available as interior or exterior mount. Remembering that this is an effort to help out others that face the same battles that Warren faced so bravely for so long, we have set the price of the decals at $15. ALL proceeds less the production and mailing costs, will be used to assist others that are faced with the challenges of Cystic Fibrosis. It is also a great way to memorialize a great man. What is so awesome to me is how Warren touched so many here, many of whom he never personally met. Please be patient, as Tony is not giving up his day job to take care of this. He is placing the initial order for the decals soon. We are opening things up today for orders. We had hoped to do this off of the website, but things are nto quite ready there yet. So, if you would like to order, please post reply here, email Tony at agiovinazzo@mrmriskmanagement.com, and then send check or MO (made out to Tony Giovinazzo) to: Friends of Warren, 6 Fellview Drive, Pittsford, NY 14534 Please specify how many, and what type (interior or exterior)... Please make the subject of your email "Friends of Warren Decal". Thank you to all. Once again, here is the final decal design:

One other related note:
We still plan on doing t-shirts. We just don't have the man power to do that right now. If there is someone out there who would be able to volunteer to lead that effort, please email me. We need someone like Tony, who can organize the shirt order and then distribute as necessary.

Tony intially asked for checks or MO's. Since he is the one that has volunteered, I will leave it to him as to Paypal use.
Thanks

Hi Shane,
Thanks for posting. I have put the order in and expect delivery by the end of the month. I can start sending out from then. I have initially ordered 250 inside mount and 250 outside mount. The reason I am avoiding using paypal is the extra fees. USPS can get a check or MO across the country pretty quick. I have responded to pope as I see he is in Romania. I am sure we can work that out. Thanks for pointing out checks made out to me, but just put Friends of Warren somewhere on the envelope. ALL proceeds will be accounted for and ALL profits from the sticker will be directed for the benefit of another CF sufferer in Warrens name. I will also have some stickers with me at Watkins Glen DE events this summer with Niagara PCA as well as Genessee Valley BMW Club. Thanks everyone.

Most of us outside the USA may have trouble with the current arrangements.

Check is in the mail for two. Great idea to remember a great guy and help a worthy cause. Proud to be a part of such a family.

OK. When the stickers arrive I will PM those of you overseas that want stickers. I'll give you my paypal address to solve the problem. I was trying, for the most part, to keep all finances in one place and not mix anything with personal banking, however, the cause is just and I will make the exception.
For Canada and the USA, I still prefer to use USPS and checks or money orders in US funds. Thanks.

This is a great effort, and you are all to be commended getting this sticker together.
I often wonder though, with all these commmerative things about Warren, is how he would have felt about the attention? He is truly a great loss to Pelican, but I would go out on a limb and suggest he was a private guy who liked to continue that way. With the exception of the fish police , not many of you have been here from the beginning, - not me either. I'd prefer to remember Warren like that: a powerhouse of knowledge and someone who told it like it is.Having said that, I'd still be proud to put the sticker on my old bus any day. Cheers, Matt

No website? Why is it on the decal? You could do all your business with a simple website. Does the money go to any charity?
