Black wheel centers on gold rims---opinions please.

Well, you asked, but of course it is only my opinion... I think those wheels look wrong on your car. That center section around the lugs kind of looks wierd. Maybe if they were black as you suggest, it would look better. If I were you, I would sell them, and buy something in silver or polished (if you want something more modern looking), or go with some SC finish 17" wheel and you will be in the zone!

Looks different for sure with the chrome center caps. Here's mine with black center caps.

sorry, personally i like a single color center. whether its black, gold or silver.

From a looks perspective...the more I study TX TARGA 1974's car...I think the problem is with the balloon type tires....not the wheels. Maybe low profile rubber would make it look a bit better.

I also think it would help it if the rockers were body color. It does something visually that I don;t like, but heck it is only MY opinion. Sorry Tex, I need to post a picture of my car so you can tell me everything you don't like about mine. ;-)

I think Wil is onto something. It couild be a little lower too. Gold BBS' look just fine on red Targas....
