Unhappy What a way to start the week...Long winded

It was so nice out yesterday I decided to take the 911 to work. About 10 minutes from the house the car just dies. It was an easy fix( after the 75.00 tow fee ), the fuel pump went out. I spent the rest of the day getting the new fuel pump on and tweaking other small thins I never get time to do. This morning was also nice so I decided to drive the 911 again, and again the car took a crap on me, this time was different though as there was fuel. When I tried to crank the car it just turned over and it sounded like a spark plug was out of the hole( not sure how to explain the noise). What was weird was after a few minutes it started up and drove fine. Could this be the cd unit going bad maybe and the noise I heard was the carb just sucking air????
