Official hello

Having read every post on this forum, I recently had a problem in which I had to call upon the expertise of those here. The problem was solved, but in my haste to get answers I rudely failed to post a pic. It's nothing special, but it is my daily transport, and I adore it. Yes, I know the wheels are boxter 16's, something I will rectify in the future, and the garage is less than scenic, but this picture is better than no picture. Anyway, hello to all.

Welcome aboard. Don't be so hard on yourself, though.

That is a nice looking 911. I personally like the wood steering wheel with the tan interior.

Kind of a "classic" look.

EDIT: Pelican has this neat "spell check" feature as well.

Yeah, I don't use it much.

No sir. No rubbing. It's a 77, pretty much stock except for msd 6al and dansk sport muffler, which my neighbors hate. I hear nothing but bad things about the mid year cars, but this thing is 31 years old, on it's original engine, and gets me where I'm going every single day. Maybe I got lucky.

Welcome. Looks nice. What tires/sizes are you running? What ride heights (@ wheel well center)?

Is that a can of beer in the passenger door pocket? You know, for emergency use?

205/55/16, front and rear. They are Z rated bridgestones, in case I want to go 190 mph on I-95. Afraid it's not beer, but the nectar of the gods, Dr Pepper. I would like to have a good cup holder if anybody knows of one that doesn't look like third world crap.

Awesome! I use my SC as a daily driver (I had a '67 912 that I put over 14,000 miles on in a year....what a blast. Senior year of college and driving the heck out of a (at the time) 38 year old Porsche!)

Welcome!!

I like my JMPro cupholder I bought from our host. It works pretty well, and doesn't look out of place in the car IMHO.
Nice car BTW. Beautiful color, and sport seats too!

Take a look at this one. Definitely doesn't look like "third world crap." http://tinyurl.com/59aw62

The JMPro cup holder is nice, but you lose the use of your cigarette lighter.
