I saw a guy at a show who raved about it. He showed me where he used it and it looked very good. Not perfect of course (color was perfect but you could see where it was used upon close inspection) but very good for hiding chips.

My brother used it on his Champagne colored Carrera and was please with the results.
A lot easier then filling in rock chips one by one.

I have a kit for each of my cars and have been pleased with the results.
I've found that it works much better on darker colors.

Color match is excellent, but it doesn't fill in the chip depression, just colors it. Looks good when standing back, but I don't like the dimples left where the chips are located. I suppose if you had a sand blasted front end, it would work wonders.

+1. Bought it after such great reviews; even in the Wall street journal. Learned how to do it at Speedweek in Fontana and looked promising. Did it at home, and was more trouble than it was worth. Depression still there on ALL chips. I know they say keep doing it till it fills it, but I prefer the paint pen better. Car is black so I had high expectations. Should have saved the money and just had the hood repainted professionally.

I've used it on both dark and light colors. Was more impressed on darker--which was even a metallic flake. Have had some luck using it to fill the dimples. Requires lots of layering and very little wiping in between coats. The instructions call it a "light touch" ...
Seems to work as well as what you put into it.
