Need some wiring help
I am finishing up my 2.7 to 3.0 conversion and just need to wrap up some wiring.
I ran the green/red wire to the oil pressure sending unit Green/ white to the oil level switch What i can't find is the black/green wire that should run to the oil temp switch What I have left over is a solid black wire, a red/black wire, a yellow wire and a white/red wire. I think the yellow and the red/black go to the temp time switch which I don't think I need to hook up as I converted to carbs. If this is correct it just leaves the white/red wire and a solid black wire. Any idea where these wires go and any idea of the wire color that goes to the oil temp switch? Tom

Red/white is power to the wur.
The green/black usually runs with the green/red but some years they used black. On the female 14 pin connector the terminal beside the main yellow on terminal 1, terminal 3 is the location for the green/black. Pop the cover off and take a look. Test for continuity to it on the black wire. It may be the missing one. Red/black and yellow are for the tts and you don't need them. |
