I was flippin' pages of a VW Accessories from J.C. Whitney and came across TURBO TIE RODS, $44.00 for the set? Now does anyone know if these VW's fit the P-car? I would think that they would. I will be ordering a set just to check out to see if they do.
Have a good weekend Tim in Sac |

"TURBO TIE RODS" in "JC Whitney-speak," most likely means that they are normal VW tie rods with lights on them!

feelyx,
If you pick up a copy of any of the 'Euro' specialty magazines you will find dozens of water-cooled VW suppliers selling 'Turbo' tie rod kits, and, no they aren't even close dimensionally to the 911 part! If they were, don't you think at least one advertiser in Excellence would have figured it out by now? ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

I dunno, but all the VW tie rods I've seen all *look* like the 930 solid mount type.
. . .the 911 rubber mounted style is the odd design in my experience. Tim, let us know what you find out. ------------------ '81 Platinum Metalic SC Coupe |
