Whatzup with this Staveley report?

I recently changed my oil (again). I always sample and send to Staveley's. Some of you may remember my endeavors with Blackstone, attempting to establish a consistent baseline on virgin samples....it didn't happen,...so,...off to Staveley's (since).

I can't seem to find my first virgin analysis of 20W50 Brad Penn,..but DO have my 2nd pass results of the SAME virgin sampled bottle,...as follows:

Iron 2
Chromium 0
Lead 0
Copper 0
Tin 0
Aluminum 1
Nickel 0
Silver 0
Silicon 7
Boron 4
Sodium 593
Magnesium 650
Calcium 2090
Barium 0
Phosphorus 954
Zinc 1131
Molydenum 8
Titanium 0
Vanadium 0
Potassium 0
ViS @ 40 cSt 151.3
ViS @ 100 C cSt 18.98
Water 0
Soot solids & coolants N/A
TBN 8.8

Recent sample during oil change with about 2800 miles on the oil. Do understand that I had been running RP MC 20W50 when I did the BP changeover (my previous oil change)...NOW, it's change #2 with the BP (again). Also,..I forgot that I had run a bottle of Techron through on a FULL tank,...early on, shortly after my previous change.....ANYWAZE,..here's the Staveley report on my LAST (BP #2) oil changeout:

Iron 12
Chromium 0
Lead 5
Copper 6
Tin 0
Aluminum 4
Nickel 0
Silver 0
Silicon 7
Boron 5
Sodium 393 (NOTED AS HIGH, BY STAVELEY"S)
Magnesium 390
Calcium 1969
Barium 0
Phosphorus 1837
Zinc 1203
Molydenum 101
Titanium 0
Vanadium 0
Potassium 0
ViS @ 40 cSt N/A (WHY IS THIS?)
ViS @ 100 C cSt 16.45
Water 0
Soot/solids N/A
Coolants YES, (WTF IS THIS?)
TAN 1.4 (TES, THAT"S RIGHT FOLKS,..."TAN" (not TBN) NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS??>>>

Charles N? Where are you?

Lotsa question here,..where was the MOLY created? Whatzup with Staveley's flag of Sodium level? ("Appears to be high", as their report noted...rec: "checking for source of contamination/monitor")

Time to call Staveley about their reports's listing of a "TAN"...Charles? Is this a separate measurement? Never heard of a TAN.. A typo? If so,..no way the TBN would drop that much, right?

...Just wanted to drill down on this,..see if anyone else out there had experienced the same thing...

Comments most welcomed.

Best,
