Best way to Conduct a transaction from a distance. Need advice
I was wondering what the best way to conduct a money/title transaction when dealing out of state. Should the buyer send money before he gets the tiltle. Could someone let me know how this is normally done. I just want to make sure that this is handled properly. Also, what is the best way to send money. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The best way is to have the buyer deposit into your bank account. Then after you feel the funds are there, send them the title. This is assuming you trust the buyer.

I bought my car from out-of-state, but I had a friend there. I sent my friend a cashiers check and had him meet the seller at the bank, where my friend gave the seller the cashiers check and in exchange got the title and took the car. (I flew over later and drove it home).
I would be leery as either the buyer or the seller either sending the title without the funds or the funds without the title unless I knew/trusted the other side.
