Proper fit between cylinder top & head -rebuild question
When the head is fitted on top of the cylinder, should there be any "play" back and forth? I just installed mine (no head gaskets) after having them resurfaced, and was surprised that I could slide them a little back and forth before torquing the stud nuts. Is that normal?

they have a tiny bit of movement normally.
